Job Duties:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with the lodge's quality standards.
- Establish work schedules and assign duties to housekeeping employees.
- Train new staff in cleaning procedures, workplace safety, and customer service standards.
- Order, receive, and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and replacement of housekeeping equipment as required.
- Monitor departmental expenses, maintain housekeeping budgets, and verify employee work hours for payroll purposes.
- Respond to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals and maintenance issues are addressed efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, company policies, and sanitation standards.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, inventory, and staff performance as required.
