Number of  Positions:        1

Salary/Wage:                  $ 21.25

Employment Terms:       Permanent Full time, 30 - 40 hours per week

 

The caregiver's primary responsibility is to provide personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance to an elderly woman. The position requires a compassionate, patient, and dependable individual who is capable of providing hands-on support with personal care, mobility, and household management while ensuring the client's safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Experience

1 to less than 7 months

 

Work setting: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely, Non-smoking, at Employer’s residence only

 

Job Responsibilities

• Administer medications
• Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
• Care for pets (Dog)
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Mend clothing and linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus
• Provide companionship
• Provide personal care
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Cook

Work conditions and physical capabilities: ending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods
