We are seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Store Manager to manage sales operations at our Victoria, BC location.
Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity.
Select merchandise and services based on customer needs and market conditions.
Set and maintain pricing and credit policies.
Source and purchase merchandise for resale.
Prepare budgets and monitor sales, revenue, and expenses.
Determine staffing needs and coordinate staff schedules.
Recruit, train, and supervise sales staff.
Supervise a team of approximately 3–4 employees.
Conduct staff performance reviews and provide feedback.
Handle customer concerns, complaints, and supply issues.
Oversee daily sales activities and ensure smooth store operations.
Monitor sales performance and make improvements where needed.
Coordinate the work of the sales team to meet business objectives.
Bachelor's degree required.
2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in retail sales management, sales supervision, or a related occupation.
Experience supervising staff.
Knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, and purchasing.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
English language proficiency required.
