User Support Technician

Salary: $37 hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Duties & Responsibilities -

• Provide users with secure access to computer systems, networks, and related technology resources.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues reported by employees and clients.

• Research technical problems by referring to user manuals, technical documentation, and knowledge resources to implement effective solutions.

• Offer guidance, technical support, and training to users to help them effectively use computer systems and applications.

• Maintain accurate records of technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions to support future problem resolution.

• Assist in testing, improving, and implementing software applications and system enhancements.

• Provide ongoing support for business systems, computer networks, internet connectivity, and related IT services.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, and network cabling to ensure proper functionality.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Completion of College/CEGEP Diploma.
• Experience will be considered as an Asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint and other Microsoft Office Applications.
• Strong English Verbal and Written communication skills with a high standard of customer service.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment.
• Highly organzied, dependable and detail - oriented.
• Client- focued individual with strong commitment to teamwork.
