Job description:
We are looking for three (3) harvesting labourer to work full-time, permanent, 40-60 hours per week at vegetable farm located in Queensville, Ontario. Slary: $18.00 per hour, to start working as soon as possible.
Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
Weeding
Grade vegetables into different gardes according to size, shape, colour
Packing of produce
Examine product for quality and readiness for market
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Clean work area
Work Conditions:
Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, tight deadlines, physically demanding, standing for extended period of time, bending, kneeling, walking. Worksite environment: cold, hot, and dusty environment, work must be completed at physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting: Staff accomodation is available, remote location.
Requirements:
No education required
Seven months to one year work experience in farming
