We are seeking a reliable, caring, and responsible Child Caregiver to provide care for our child(ren) in a private home. The successful candidate will create a safe and nurturing environment while supporting the children's daily routines and development.
Main Duties
- Supervise and care for child(ren) in the employer's home.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Plan and supervise age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Help with homework, if required.
- Accompany children to and from school, appointments, or activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the children, including laundry and tidying play areas.
- Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, and special needs, if applicable.
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous childcare experience is an asset.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English or French.
- Dependable, patient, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Criminal record check may be required.
