PGL Truck Centre Ltd., located at 118 Rutherford Road, Brampton, Ontario, requires 1 Licensed Truck Trailer Mechanic (310T) on a Permanent full-time basis.
Wage $ 37.25 per hour
Hours: 37.50 per week
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy-duty truck and coach repair, including but not limited to apprenticeship experience.
- Ontario Truck and Coach Technician (310T) Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal) is required/preferred.

Job Duties:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles using diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and specialized tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance services and mechanical repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, suspension, braking systems, and related components.
- Diagnose and repair air brake systems, electrical and electronic systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and other vehicle operating systems.
- Identify mechanical and safety-related issues, recommend required repairs, and ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and transportation safety standards.
- Remove, repair, replace, rebuild, and adjust defective vehicle components and assemblies.
- Conduct road tests and operational checks after repairs to verify vehicle performance and safe operation.
- Complete service reports, repair orders, inspection documents, and maintenance records accurately.
