Job Description:
- Greet customers and determine the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services they require for purchase, rental, or lease.
- Advise customers on the use, care, and features of merchandise, including specialized products and services.
- Estimate and quote prices, credit terms, trade-in allowances, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Prepare merchandise for sale, rental, or lease.
- Prepare sales agreements and process payments by cash, cheque, credit card, or debit card.
- Assist with merchandising and product displays.
- Maintain sales and inventory records for stock control.
- Operate computerized inventory systems and place orders to restock merchandise.
- Conduct sales transactions through online and e-commerce platforms, as required.
