Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our family-owned real estate organization. The ideal candidate is a multitasker who is extremely organized and works well in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this position, the candidate must be able to work independently and have the ability to effectively prioritize workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with year-end audits.
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Collaborate with property management and operations teams on financial reporting.
- Prepare CAM billing calculations and analysis
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and day‑to‑day accounting operations
- Assist with banking relationships, lender reporting, and financing documentation
- Support special projects and other initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual English / French, Hebrew an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in real estate accounting particularly with multiple properties and companies.
- Strong understanding of real estate financial operations, reporting, and asset management
- Extensive knowledge of Hopem software is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality
Salary targeting $36.00 per hour
