Job Description

 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our family-owned real estate organization. The ideal candidate is a multitasker who is extremely organized and works well in a fast-paced environment.  To be successful in this position, the candidate must be able to work independently and have the ability to effectively prioritize workflow.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Assist with year-end audits.
  • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
  • Collaborate with property management and operations teams on financial reporting.
  • Prepare CAM billing calculations and analysis
  • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and day‑to‑day accounting operations
  • Assist with banking relationships, lender reporting, and financing documentation
  • Support special projects and other initiatives as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English / French, Hebrew an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in real estate accounting particularly with multiple properties and companies.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financial operations, reporting, and asset management
  • Extensive knowledge of Hopem software is required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality

 

Salary targeting $36.00 per hour
