Permanent Position: Carpenter (TEER 72310)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (Overtime, weekend if required)

Wage Rate:  $36.90 per hour (40 hours per week)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Main Office: 17514 55B Avenue, Unit A, Surrey, British Columbia, V3S 7G6

Education: High School required.

 Experience: 1 -2 years of experience in similar industry.

 Language: Basic English

Job Duties:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet the need of each project/client.
• Study specifications of the project to prepare layouts.
• Estimate the rough quantity of the material required to start the project.
• Measure and cut lumber and other materials to the correct size and shape using hand and power tools.
• Installations of windows, doors, and casings/trims
• Assemble and install prefabricated building components.
• Repair or replace damaged parts/sections of structure.
• Installing trim, molding, and other decorative elements
• Collaborating with team and other trades people
• Follow safety regulations and procedures, including wearing protective equipment.

 

Additional Skills: Work at heights, must be able to lift 25 lbs.
