Responsibilities:
Tasks
- Direct, plan, and oversee the daily operations of the commercial laundry facility to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and quality control standards to maintain consistent service quality.
- Plan, organize, and evaluate daily production schedules, staffing requirements, and workflow to meet customer deadlines.
- Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.
- Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews to improve productivity and service quality.
- Plan and control departmental budgets, operating expenses, inventory levels, and procurement of laundry supplies, chemicals, linens, and equipment.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation of laundry machinery.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and environmental requirements.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service concerns promptly, implementing corrective actions to maintain client satisfaction.
- Prepare operational reports, analyze productivity and costs, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, labour regulations, and industry standards.
