Salary: $25.00 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week

Poncho's Pub & Grill is a well-established restaurant and bar located in the heart of Whitewood, Saskatchewan. Known for our warm hospitality, quality food, and welcoming atmosphere, we proudly serve both local residents and travelers. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Building Maintenance Worker to help maintain our facilities and ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for our staff and customers.
Responsibilities
l Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairways.
l Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris, dirt, and other refuse.
l Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
l Perform routine inspections of the building and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
l Make adjustments and perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
l Contact and coordinate with qualified tradespersons and contractors for major repairs and maintenance work.
l Perform minor repairs on appliances, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
l Replace light bulbs, filters, door hardware, and other worn building components.
l Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep.
l Maintain kitchen equipment and dining area fixtures in good working condition.
l Perform safety and security inspections to ensure compliance with workplace standards.
l Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
l Water and maintain plants, lawns, and landscaped areas.
l Remove snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and parking areas.
Requirements:
l Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
l At least 7 months of experience in building maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related occupation.
l Knowledge of general building maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and repair techniques.
l Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
l Good communication and interpersonal skills.
l Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
l Experience working in a food service or hospitality environment is considered an asset.
l Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
