Responsibilities:

Tasks

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen and front-line food service employees to ensure efficient operations.
  • Train and mentor staff on job responsibilities, food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of food service team members.
  • Monitor food preparation and customer service to ensure consistent quality, presentation, and compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in preparing labour budgets, food cost estimates, and inventory forecasts to support operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to customer concerns and resolve service-related issues in a professional manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels, maintain records of stock usage, waste, equipment repairs, and daily sales.
  • Prepare operational reports, inventory summaries, and other management documentation as required.
  • Coordinate food orders with the kitchen team and ensure timely communication of production requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of the establishment's menu, recipes, and food preparation methods to effectively support kitchen operations.
  • Develop staff work schedules, assign duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels during operating hours.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, company policies, and quality assurance procedures.
