Elderly Caregiver

 

Mangat family is looking for an understanding, loving, energetic, caring and active caregiver for their elderly father who in their 80’s at their residence located at Langley, BC V2Z 1B9.

Job Title: Elderly Caregiver

Position: Permanent, Full-Time 32 hours/ week.

Vacancy: 1

Start Date: As soon as possible

Language: must have English speaking skills

Education: Secondary (High) school Graduate Certification or equivalent experience. Caregiver course will be an asset.

Experience: Will Train.

Wage: C$ 25.00/hour

Work Site Environment: Non-Smoking

 

Duties to perform

• Keeping full care of sanitation and hygiene.
• Assume full responsibility of the absence of house holds 
• Perform light housekeeping work and cleaning duties.
• Help in light physical activities, exercise and walking.
• Provide companionship by talking and help in socialization.
• Giving medicines on time as prescribed by the doctor.
• Assume full responsibility for household including laundry
• Prepare nutritious meals and special diets as prescribed by the doctor.
• May need to accompany the elderly to the doctor’s visit.
• Inform the employer if anything unusual is found in their behavior or talks.
• When unwell may have to help in feeding the elderly.
