- No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience
- At least two years of experience as a Food Service Supervisor in a full-service restaurant, along with over three years of experience as a food and beverage server
- Experience in Cantonese cuisine and Dim Sum service, including familiarity with traditional Cantonese dishes, Dim Sum menu items, and Chinese-style dining service standards
On site
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
- Establish work schedules
