I am a busy mother of two school‑age children, ages 4 and 6, and my husband works full‑time. With our daily schedule and responsibilities, I need reliable support to help manage the children’s routines, especially before school and after school. I am currently attending school myself, which makes consistent childcare essential for our family’s stability.

Both of my children have allergies, and our family follows a strict vegan lifestyle, so I need a Nanny who is extremely careful and attentive when it comes to food preparation and daily routines. My children are allergic to nuts, eggs, avocado, and several other specific foods, and we maintain a clear list of restricted items that the Nanny must follow at all times. In addition, both of my children have eczema, and my youngest also has asthma, so the Nanny must be mindful of triggers, help maintain routines, and follow the instructions I provide for their daily care.

Because of these needs, I am looking for a dedicated Nanny who can assist us with morning preparation, after‑school supervision, and maintaining a safe, structured, allergy‑aware environment for the children.

Because of this, the Nanny must be able to:

  • Pay close attention to ingredients and avoid all allergy triggers

  • Follow our vegan household rules (in meals or snacks)

  • Ensure the children do not accidentally consume restricted foods

  • Monitor for signs of allergic reactions or asthma flare‑ups

  • Assist with administering prescribed medications when needed

  • Respond calmly and responsibly during allergy or asthma episodes

  • Communicate with me immediately if symptoms worsen or emergency help is required

These needs make it essential for me to hire a Nanny who is detail‑oriented, cautious, and experienced in supporting children with allergies and dietary restrictions.

Duties:

  • Supervise and care for my two school‑age children

  • Assist them before school, including:

    • Preparing breakfast

    • Helping them get dressed and organized

    • Packing school bags and lunches

    • Ensuring they follow morning routines

    • Escorting them to school or supervising until school transportation arrives

  • Provide after‑school care, including:

    • School pick‑up or receiving them at home

    • Preparing snacks

    • Supervising homework and school assignments

    • Supporting reading, learning, and enrichment activities

    • Engaging them in structured play and educational activities

    • Monitoring their safety and well‑being until parents are available

  • Maintain consistent routines for the children throughout the day

  • Prepare meals everyday (breakfast and dinner after school)

  • Organize recreational, developmental, and age‑appropriate activities

  • Supervise indoor and outdoor play

  • Assist with children’s hygiene (washing hands, changing clothes, etc.)

  • Keep the children’s areas clean, organized, and safe

  • Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as:

    • Tidying play areas

    • Cleaning up after meals

    • Washing children’s dishes

    • Folding children’s laundry

  • Support the children’s emotional well‑being, social development, and daily structure

  • Provide care during school breaks, PA days, holidays, and sick days when children are home

  • Communicate with me regularly about the children’s routines, progress, and any concerns

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year childcare experience or at leaste with 6 months child care training or on any related field

  • English

  • Criminal record check

  • High school Education diploma
  • Full‑time availability

This is a live out position but I am offering a free accommodation if needed.

"Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live‑in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment."
