About Us
A-Z Waste Bin & Fence Rental is a leading provider of waste bin and temporary fence rental services for residential, commercial, industrial, and construction projects throughout Alberta. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily administrative operations of our growing business and support efficient service delivery to our customers and field operations.
Job Duties
- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and evaluate and implement improved administrative systems and processes.
- Establish work priorities, delegate tasks to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and company procedures are followed.
- Coordinate office services, including equipment, supplies, records management, maintenance, parking, and office security.
- Support daily business operations by coordinating communications between office staff, drivers, dispatch personnel, and customers.
- Assist with scheduling deliveries, equipment rentals, and service requests to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct administrative activities related to budgeting, contracting, project planning, and operational management.
- Assist in preparing operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls for office supplies and equipment.
- Maintain and organize business records, contracts, customer files, and confidential information in accordance with company policies.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, correspondence, invoices, and other business documents.
- Monitor and improve office workflows to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
- Coordinate the procurement and maintenance of office equipment and supplies.
- Assist management with human resources administration, including onboarding documentation and maintaining employee records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health, safety, and administrative regulations.
- May supervise and train office support staff and coordinate their daily activities.
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
Employment Requirements
- A college diploma or university degree in business administration, office administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience in a senior clerical, administrative, or office management role is usually required.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general office software.
- Experience with bookkeeping, scheduling, invoicing, and records management is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management training or certification is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
