Job Responsibilities:
•Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency software components within live capital markets and trading systems
•Collect and document requirements from trading desk and quantitative stakeholders; translate into precise technical specifications
•Define system functionality and develop process models to optimize architecture for real-time financial data flows
•Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify and communicate solutions
•Execute full software development lifecycle — from requirements through deployment and post-release support
•Evaluate performance and reliability of system designs under live market-hours load
•Integrate disparate financial data systems; document architecture and data flows rigorously
•Maintain and upgrade existing systems; prepare software maintenance plans
•Conduct security and quality controls; execute and document results of software and system tests
•Coordinate development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based trading systems
•Research technical information to design, develop, and test systems
•Lead and co-ordinate with information systems professionals across development and integration phases
•Work within Agile/Scrum delivery cycles under market-driven and regulatory timelines

•Bloomberg Terminal / BLPAPI — production-level; tick data subscriptions, real-time feed handling, historical data retrieval via API. UI familiarity alone will disqualify
•Go — goroutine concurrency, channel-based architecture, pprof profiling, high-throughput service design in production financial context
•Haskell — GHC, STM, monadic composition, Conduit or Pipes streaming, Aeson, QuickCheck; shipped production code required
•Go ecosystem: gRPC, protocol buffers, Go modules, net/sync/context standard library depth
•Haskell ecosystem: Cabal/Stack, servant or warp, property-based testing
•TIBCO — event-driven messaging and market data distribution
•Linux / Unix — primary operating environment; no GUI dependency
•TCP/IP networking fundamentals in latency-sensitive contexts
•Git / GitHub — version control and secure development workflows
•Jenkins — CI/CD pipeline management
•Docker / Virtualization — containerized deployment
•Agile / DevOps — delivery methodology and secure SDLC practices
