Hourly Teachers - Microsoft Network and Security Administrator (Fall 2026)
The College is seeking hourly paid professors to join a dynamic team to teach credited courses ONSITE within Continuing Education in the Fall of 2026.
**All courses will be taught from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
420-M45-HR Hardware Essentials (75 hours)
(August 31st, 2026 to September 21st, 2026)
Students learn key elements of computer hardware. They will examine the components that a PC is made up of as well as the terminologies associated with hardware components. During the course students will be able to identify each device and learn troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems. At the end of this course students will dismantle a PC and rebuild it to a functional state.
420-M46-HR Operating Systems Essentials (60 hours)
(September 22nd, 2026 to October 8th, 2026)
Students will build on the knowledge they gained from the hardware course. During this course they will learn what an operating system is as well as the various types that exist. Troubleshooting operating system errors is key for any support technician, so that is a focus on this course. At the end of this course students will install and configure an operating system.

(October 9th, 2026 to October 27th , 2026)
This course is intended for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about networks. In this course, students learn various network infrastructures as well as terminologies. Students will be able to identify the key components of wireless and wired networks. Key components of this course include network protocols, network devices, LAN/WAN technologies as well as troubleshooting network problems.
420-M48-HR Mobility and Device Fundamentals (45 hours)
(October 28th, 2026 to November 9th, 2026)
This course is intended for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about mobility and mobile devices. In this course, students learn various mobile technologies. Students will learn to configure and secure Windows devices, access and manage data (including cloud storage), learn basics of Microsoft cloud services (including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Intune), and learn about enterprise mobility including Bring Your Own Device policies.
420-M49-HR Cloud Fundamentals (45 hours)
(November 10th, 2026 to November 20th, 2026)
This course is intended for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge base and technical skills about cloud computing. Students will learn key cloud services and terminology, Microsoft cloud services, Microsoft Office 365 and Intune administration, and the ability to use, configure, or support parts of other key Microsoft technologies for cloud services including SharePoint Online, Skype for Business Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive accounts, general journal entries, processing business transactions, paying suppliers, depositing customers’ payments, and calculation of tax. Students will generate financial statements.
420-T20-HR Installing and Configuring Windows Client (75 hours)
(November 21st, 2026 to December 11th, 2026)
This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to install and configure Windows 10 desktops and devices in a Windows Server domain corporate environment. These skills include learning how to install and customize Windows 10 operating systems and apps, and configure local and remote network connectivity and storage. Students will also learn how to configure data security, device security, and network security, and maintain, update, and recover Windows 10.
420-T21-HR Deploying and Managing Windows Client (75 hours)
(December 14th, 2026 to January 12th, 2027)
Students learn how to plan and implement Windows 10 deployments in large organizations. Students also learn how to manage the Windows 10 installations after deployment to provide secure identity and data access using technologies related to Group Policy, Remote Access, and device registration. To support a variety of device and data management solutions, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Azure Rights Management are introduced. These services are part of the Enterprise Mobility Suite, which provides identity and access management, and cloud-based device, application, and update management.
