Carpenter

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment Full time, $36.65 hourly / 32 to 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 9980 125 St  Surrey, BC V3V 4Y2

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience:1 year to less than 2 years

Languages: Written and Spoken English are required

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty

Work setting : Construction, Various locations, Renovation, Commercial Residential

Duties:

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Instruct apprentices
• Supervise other workers
• Estimate costs and materials

Supervision :

• 3-4 people
