Position: Carpenter (NOC 72310)
Location: Various construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland, British Columbia
Salary: $36.60 per hour
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

Education:
No formal education required.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of recent experience as a carpenter in construction environments.
Experience working on commercial, multi-family residential, structural, concrete, or large-scale construction projects is considered a strong asset.
Apprenticeship training or equivalent trade experience is considered an asset.
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and site layouts
- Prepare layouts in accordance with building plans and construction requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, engineered wood products, and other construction materials
- Construct and install foundations, floor systems, wall systems, roof systems, and temporary structures
- Perform structural carpentry work on active construction sites
- Install and remove concrete forming systems and related construction materials
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, equipment operators, labourers, and other trades
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
Work Environment:
- Active construction sites
- Physically demanding
- Repetitive lifting, carrying, and climbing
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Fast-paced construction environment
- Overtime may be required depending on project schedules
