WKA Renovations Ltd., a construction company based in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently seeking a full-time Purchasing Specialist (NOC 12102) to join our growing team.
Position: Purchasing Specialist(Purchaser)
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Salary: $37.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Job Duties:
- Purchase construction materials, equipment, and supplies required for company projects
- Evaluate suppliers and negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules
- Maintain inventory control and monitor purchasing activities
- Review and process purchase orders and invoices
- Coordinate with project managers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Research market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and project requirements
Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary or higher education
- Education in business, supply chain, construction management, or related field is an asset
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing-related software
