Job Overview
Decor-Rest Furniture Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Framer-Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structural frameworks and wood-based components in accordance with specifications and industry standards.
Salary
$36.00 to $40.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
30 to 40 hours per week
Work Schedule
Flexible schedule including:
Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, and On-call shifts
Start Date
As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials using hand and power tools.
- Construct and assemble wooden furniture frames according to design specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate production.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
- Repair or replace damaged wooden components in furniture pieces.
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and fastening of components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support production flow.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Follow workplace safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
Requirementa
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Work Environment
- On-site position (no remote work option)
- Physically demanding work environment
