Operations vice-president

Nutralab Canada Ltd. is currently seeking an Operations Vice-President. This role will be a team player and strategic leader who will work collaboratively across functions to ensure organizational and operational alignment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of senior management experience, with overall 8–10 years of progressive management experience in operations, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or a related regulated industry is required
  • Strong knowledge of GMP standards and Health Canada regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience in leading large teams and managing multi-department operations
  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational execution at an executive level

On site

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

  • Advance the mission and core values of the company, set medium and long-term goals and strategies for the company.

  • Demonstrated track record of establishing a best-in-class operational excellence with the necessary culture, behaviors and action plans to drive business results.
  • Adept ability in using a multi-faceted approach to creating meaningful relationships that lead to growth for NutraLab.
  • Identify areas of operational improvement, assess current operating structure and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee and develop various groups within organization by building relationships with various areas and functions.
  • Identify areas of growth in operating strategies and be accountable for strategy execution.
  • Advise CEO/President on opportunities and risks associated with operations decisions, product decisions and capital projects.
  • Ensure the voice of operations Is heard as decisions are made around brands, new products, acquisitions, etc.
  • Provide thought leadership to drive strategy and innovation across the organization
  • Develop, update and manage Operations strategic and annual operating budgets in partnership with finance.
  • Establish the Company’s financial and administrative controls.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with policies and procedures as required.
  • Oversee Operations operating budget and ensure investments align to company priorities.
  • Oversee, manage, and grow the teams, including organizational structure, hiring/promotion systems and decisions, professional development, development practices, and operational tools/processes.
