Wages: $44.72/hour, 32 hours/week
Job Duties:
- Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the travel agency engaged in travel services such as airline tickets, tour packages, hotel bookings and other travel arrangements.
- Manage staff and assign duties to travel consultants and office staff.
- Study market research and travel trends to determine customer demand, potential sales and the effect of competitors on sales.
- Determine travel products and services to be sold and implement pricing policies.
- Source and negotiate with airlines, hotels, tour operators and other travel service providers when necessary to obtain travel products for clients.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote travel services and packages.
- Plan budgets, authorize expenditures and monitor revenues of the travel agency.
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and travel inquiries.
- Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, training and retention of staff.
Requirements:
- Secondary education required
- 2-3 Year of Experience Required
- Language-English
