Responsibilities
Tasks
- Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple clients.
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process payroll, including wages, deductions, and statutory remittances.
- Ensure compliance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations and accounting standards.
- Assist in tax preparation by organizing financial records and supporting documents.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and improve financial accuracy.
- Supervise and review work of junior bookkeeping staff.
- Maintain and update accounting records using softwares.
- Communicate with clients to resolve financial issues and provide bookkeeping support.
