Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple clients.
  • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process payroll, including wages, deductions, and statutory remittances.
  • Ensure compliance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations and accounting standards.
  • Assist in tax preparation by organizing financial records and supporting documents.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and improve financial accuracy.
  • Supervise and review work of junior bookkeeping staff.
  • Maintain and update accounting records using softwares.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve financial issues and provide bookkeeping support.
