Position: Human Resources Consultant

Wage: $41.00/hour

Hours: 35-40 hours/week

Skills Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 2 years of experience

Languages: Must be able to communicate in English

Job Duties:

• Prepare, implement, and continuously evaluate human resources policies programs such as performance management, learning and employee engagement initiatives within a transportation company
• Advise employees and supervisors on the interpretation of human resources policies, procedures and programs.  
• Assist in administering and supporting employee relations activities, including responding to employee inquiries and supporting performance review processes
• Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, performance evaluation tools and HR reporting systems.
• Implement of staffing, training, career development, employee assistance and employment equity programs.
• Manage and maintain human resources information systems and employee records, including performance data, training records and HR metrics
• Coordinate employee performance appraisal programs, including tracking performance cycles and supporting documentation and reporting
• Prepare human resources reports, dashboards and presentations by compiling and analyzing employee data
• Support the development and delivery of training materials and learning programs, including digital and AI-assisted content
• Assist in reviewing employee benefits and occupational health and safety practices and recommend improvements to existing policies and procedures
