Job Description:
- Cut grass and maintain lawns using mowers, trimmers, and other equipment
- Plant trees, flowers, shrubs, and other plants
- Water plants, lawns, and garden areas
- Remove weeds and maintain garden beds
- Rake leaves and collect yard waste
- Spread soil, mulch, fertilizer, and seeds as required
- Assist with landscape construction tasks such as installing sod, pathways, and other landscaping features
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Clean and maintain outdoor work areas and job sites
- Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials and supplies
- Assist in preparing sites for landscaping work by clearing debris and leveling ground
- Perform other general grounds maintenance duties as required
Requirements:
• No formal education is required.
• Experience is an asset; however, on-the-job training will be provided.
Work Conditions:
- Work is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Physically demanding work involving lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
