A private household in Caledon, Ontario is seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing home environment. The successful candidate will support children’s daily routines, well-being, and development while maintaining a clean and organized household.
Supervise and provide daily care to ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for the child’s age.
Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support daily routines such as school preparation, homework time, and bedtime schedules.
Organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to support development.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment related to child care.
Monitor the child’s health and report any concerns to the parents promptly.
Encourage positive behavior and discipline according to parents’ guidance.
Accompany the child to outings, activities, or appointments as required.
Keep brief daily records of activities, meals, and any notable events.
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
1 to less than 2 years of relevant child care experience
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Patient, reliable, and attentive to children’s needs
Criminal record check
Basic security clearance
Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as required
On-site work only; remote work is not available
