On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Garage, Troubleshooting/diagnostic
Tasks
- Inspecting, repairing, and overhauling diesel engines including turbochargers, EGR systems, DPF/SCR aftertreatment systems.
- Diagnosing electrical and electronic faults including ECM/TCM modules, CAN bus communication, wiring harness testing, and voltage drop analysis.
- Removing and installing transmissions, clutches, differentials, and driveline components.
- Performing air brake system repairs including chambers, valves, ABS systems, and air leak detection.
- Conducting preventive maintenance inspections and ensuring vehicles meet provincial safety standards.
- Following workplace safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, including engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and air systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools (OEM software and scanners).
- Work on DEF/DPF systems including cleaning and regeneration.
- Work on HVAC System
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following shop protocols and safety guidelines.
