Wage: $36.00 – $36.50 per hour
Overtime: 1.5 times regular wage after 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week, as per Alberta Employment Standards

Job Duties
The Retail Store Supervisor will perform some or all of the following duties:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of retail sales staff in an airport specialty chocolate retail store
- Assign sales duties including product sales, gift packaging, restocking, and merchandising
- Ensure high standards of customer service in a high-volume airport environment
- Train staff in product knowledge, upselling techniques, and customer engagement with domestic and international travelers
- Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in accordance with company policies
- Monitor inventory levels of chocolates, confectionery items, and packaging supplies; requisition merchandise as required
- Oversee proper storage, handling, and rotation of perishable chocolate products
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness and presentation
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of retail sales staff
- Prepare sales and inventory reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with airport security procedures, health and safety regulations, and food handling standards
Employment Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience in a fast-paced environment
- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early morning or late-night airport operating hours
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Work Setting
- Secure retail location within Calgary International Airport
- Fast-paced, high-volume retail environment

- Handling cash and operating POS systems
Security Clearance Requirement
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must:
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Successfully obtain Transportation Security Clearance (TSC) through Transport Canada
- Provide five years of verifiable employment, residence, and travel history
- Undergo criminal record verification and fingerprinting, if required
- Complete mandatory Canadian Aviation Security Awareness Program (CASAP) training (National and YYC Local modules)
- Present valid government-issued identification and proof of legal authorization to work in Canada
Failure to obtain or maintain required airport security clearance may result in termination of employment.
