Warehouse Manager

 

Highlight Motor Freight is a large leading transportation company.
We deliver billions of items to Canadians and customers outside of Canada each year.

Currently, we are looking for talented, enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse Manager to join our growing team.
Area of Specialization: knowledge of transportation warehouse is necessary.  

As a Warehouse Manager you will oversee daily operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping, to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate inventory management and perform the following duties:

• Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities
• Identify customers’ needs
• Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
• Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
• Oversee the leasing of space in the facility and the included real estate and the development of marketing strategies
• Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal
• Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
• Resolve product and service related problems
• Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
• Organize and maintain inventory

We offer competitive salary: $45.20 hourly and benefit package.  It is permanent full-time job with 40 hours per week

Education and experience requirements
College/CEGEP diploma in logistic, business administration or related filed.  Proven experience can substitute education requirements 
Required Experience: 1-2 years
