Job Overview
Wood Tech is seeking a skilled Framer – Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will work on-site to construct, repair, and renovate wooden structures and frameworks in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood components using screws, nuts and bolts for custom furniture frames.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for furniture design.
- Fit, Install and trim doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows and railing etc.
- Operate power tools and woodworking machinery with precision and safety.
- Build structural framing for cabinetry, tables, and upholstered items.
- Inspect wooden parts for defects and ensure proper alignment and fit.
- Install joints, fasteners, and reinforcements as per design specifications.
- Collaborate with designers and production staff to ensure quality output.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to safety standards.
- Apply knowledge of wood properties to optimize durability and aesthetics.
- Assist in repairing or modifying existing furniture frames as needed.
Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 – 2 years in carpentry or framing

Skills: Reliability, personal suitability, attention to safety and security
