Our projects include metal and wood framing, ceiling systems, bulkheads, flooring, cabinetry, doors, and finishing work. Our head office is located in Milton, Ontario; however, this position requires working at various construction sites depending on project location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Measure, mark, and lay out building materials according to drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
- Construct, install, and repair wood and metal framing for walls, ceilings, partitions, bulkheads, and structural components.
- Perform metal stud framing for interior walls, ceiling systems, and commercial bulkheads.
- Install wood framing for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Assemble and install flooring systems, including subfloors and finished flooring.
- Install cabinets, doors, frames, baseboards, trims, and finishing components with precision and accuracy.
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools such as drills, routers, nailers, hammers, chop saws, and related equipment.
- Operate skyjacks and scaffolding safely when working at heights, following all safety procedures.
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers, providing on-the-job guidance and ensuring work meets drawings, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction plans.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, occupational health and safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines and requirements.

Employment Requirements
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant carpentry experience
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in carpentry
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices
- Own Transportation
- Willing to travel regularly
