Salary: $25.00 to $29.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 40 hours per week

Languages:English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Tasks

  • Set up, adjust, and operate laser cutting and other metalworking machines to cut, shape, and form sheet metal into required components according to production specifications.
  • Follow instructions and work orders to ensure accurate processing of metal parts.
  • Measure, inspect, and verify finished products for correct dimensions, shape, and quality using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Select, load, and transport raw materials, including sheet metal, to and from the work area manually or using material-handling equipment.
  • Perform operations such as cutting, bending, rolling, punching, drilling, welding, or forming metal stock as required for fabrication and production processes.
  • Conduct routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions, investigate operational issues, and perform minor repairs or report major problems to maintenance or supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including job completion details, material usage, and quality checks.
  • Build staging or erect scaffolding when required for handling heavy metal components or performing large-scale metalworking tasks.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures, ensuring proper machine operation and safe handling of materials at all times.
