Job Title: Banquet Manager (NOC-60030)

Work Location: 550 Harbour Expressway Thunder Bay, ON P7B 6P4
Term of employment: Full-time, permanent position with minimum 40 hours per week
Compensation: $ 60,000.00 annually
Start Date: As soon as possible
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Evaluate daily operations
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Set staff work schedules
- Train staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Manage events
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year experience required
- Language: English

On site:
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
