Ms. Mohsen Karamat Naveed is seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) to provide attentive, caring, and responsible support for his child. The ideal candidate will focus on the child’s well-being, physical and social development, and assist parents with childcare and light household duties.
Compensation: $20.00 CAD per hour
Schedule: full time, minimum 30 hours/week - working hours to be determined
Main Duties:
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
- Care for pets
- Bathe, dress, and feed the child
- Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings for the child; prepare the child for rest periods
- Supervise and care for the child
- Take the child to appointments
- Tend to the emotional well-being of the child
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 months of relevant experience
- High school diploma
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
