Job Duties: 

Financial Management & Cost Control:
1. Analyze budgets and develop strategies to boost and maintain restaurant profitability.
2. Develop and manage budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, and kitchen/cleaning supplies.
3. Monitor revenues and payroll to optimize labour costs.
4. Cost all products and services accurately.
5. Modify food preparation methods and adjust menu prices in line with budgetary goals.
6. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for all food and other supplies.

Operations & Administration:
1. Plan, organize, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and excellence.
2. Determine the types of services to be offered and implement corresponding operational procedures.
3. Organize and maintain inventory levels through effective inventory control.
4. Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations.
5. Recruit, train, and supervise all staff members.

Team Leadership & Human Resources:

1. Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
2. Conduct formal performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
3. Lead and instruct team members to maintain high standards of productivity and morale.
4. Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.

Sales, Marketing & Customer Service:

1. Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans.
2. Negotiate with clients for catering or facility rental events.
3. Manage and execute in-restaurant and off-site events.
4. Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address customer complaints or concerns.

Qualifications:
1. College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is needed
2. Proven 2 years to less than 3 years of management experience in a similar full-service restaurant environment.
3. Highly Organized & Accurate in all tasks
4. Client-Focused with a passion for customer service
5. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing a large workload with tight deadlines and the ability to work under pressure.
6. The role is physically demanding, involving a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
