Lady W Senior Care is seeking two compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers – Nursing Care to provide personal support services for clients residing in long-term care and retirement facilities. Our staff will visit seniors in these facilities to deliver one-on-one personal care, monitoring, and daily living assistance, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Position: Personal support worker – nursing care
Wage: C$ 24.00 hourly
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Job duties:
- Serve meal trays, feed or assist in feeding of patients and assist patients with menu selection.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse; track and document fluid intake and output.
- Observe clients’ physical and emotional conditions, report changes to nursing staff, and update care records accurately.
- Collect specimens (urine, stool, sputum) and assist with prescribed procedures such as suppositories and enemas under supervision.
- Support clients in exercise and recreational activities to maintain mobility and well-being.
- Provide first aid and emergency response within scope of training.
- Transport clients using wheelchairs or stretchers safely as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including making beds and sanitizing care equipment.

Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of specialized courses such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid is required.
- Ability to work under pressure with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Ability to focus attention on clients, remaining calm and courteous at all times
