Caregiver for Children
Caregiver needed for two children in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T3J 0P2 at private home (Full time, permanent job)
The children are both girls aged 7 and 4 years.
Duties to be performed:
Take full responsibility of both the children and their safety in the absence of the parents. Must have the knowledge of cooking nutritious food and serve the kids as per the requirement. Drop and pick up children from the school and make them have lunch. Involve them in the educative activities. Make them revise school work. Accompany them to the parks and other appointments. Take full responsibility to monitor all the activities and report back if there is any unusual behavior/activity. Involve them in reading activities and outdoor activities depending on the mood and the weather. Discipline the children as per the guidelines of the parents. Never leave the children alone in home or outside.
The minimum qualification required is the Completion of High School and minimum of six months course in child care. The preference will be given to a candidate with minimum 6 months experience in child care and is organized, reliable, take initiative and is flexible with working hours and ready to work long hours (overtime) for long commitment.
This is a full time position at the employer’s home and is open for all including Apprentices, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Person with disabilities, Seniors, Students, Veterans Youth Visible minorities.
Note: the candidate should be non-smoking
Salary: $15.20 hourly for 40 hours per week
Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Live-in is not a condition of the job.
