Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $13 /Hourly

Main Duties

Supervise and care for almost 3 year old child in employer’s residence. Bathe, dress and feed the child. Prepare formulas, sterilize bottles and changing diapers. Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals for child and may perform other housekeeping duties like doing the child’s laundry, organizing and cleaning the child’s play area. Oversee child’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home and instruct children with general hygiene. Organizing and cleaning child’s bathroom. Tend to the emotional wellbeing of child and support his social development. Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. May require to maintain records of daily activities and health information of the child. Driving the child to doctor’s appointments. Should have open availability to work week days, weekends, mornings or evenings.

 

Requirements

Completion of Secondary School is required.

Completion of a 6 months Caregiver Program/Nanny Course or 1 -2 years work experience as a caregiver.

Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.

Punjabi speaking is an asset; however is not a requirement.

Essential Skills:

Client focus, Reliability, Initative, Dependability, Organized.

Benefits: Minimum 35 hours per week. Paid meal breaks.
